Coal smiled and sat by his sister. He wagged his tail behind him in a puppy joy. "What do we do now?" He blinked and stared at his brother and sister. His mind had drifted away from the subject of his father,but he still wanted to know badly. Yet,his mother seemed to make it a bad topic.

Rue

Rue glanced down at the pups. "You can go play." She smiled gently at them. She looked to Scar and Titus,and bowed her head again. "Thank you for letting us stay here." She lifted her head and blinked a few times. She smirked. So this is his mate. Haha,the one he so dearly loves... Her face darkened a little at that thought,but she pushed it away.

Star perked her ears at her mothers words, she wagged her tail and ran around her mother's paws, her fur ruffled in the wind as she yipped then turned and nipped at Kilo just as he came jogging along.

Kilo stopped in mid stride when Star nipped him, he turned to his sister and tackled her, he growled ferociously and tugged on her ear.

Coal smiled and bounced up and down. He jumped into the pup pile and tumbled around with his siblings. He ended up with his head through Star's legs,and with Kilo on top of her. He glanced up me giggled.[/center]

Star giggled then began to untangle herself from her brothers, she sat beside her mother and watched her brothers play, her tail curled around her paws as she smiled.

Kilo laughed and waved his tail, soon turning and pouncing on Coal with a yip, moving and trying to pin his brother, he growled and wagged his tail still.

Coal giggled even more and pushed Kilo off of him. He then jumped onto him and tried to pin him down. "Hehe! Come on,Star!" He turned to his sister and smiled.

Kilo took advantage when Coal turned to Star, he yipped and tackled his brother eagerly, working to pin him again.

Star laughed then bolted forward, pouncing on Kilo, she grinned and latched her pointy puppy teeth into his ear and pulled.

Coal smiled and let out an "Omph",when Kilo landed on top of him. He growled and smiled when Star came to his reduce. He over came Kilo with her and smiled. "Hehe! How's that Kilo?" He giggled and wagged his tail.

Star giggled along with her brother, her tail wagging quickly as she sat down and lifted her head up happily.

Kilo pouted but soon returned to his happy hyper state, soon jumping on his sister with a bark.

Coal giggled and leapt after his brother. Tackling him off Star. He rolled around with him around in a ball.

Star yipped and ran circles around her brothers, her tail wagging furiously as she ran.

Kilo wrestled with Coal, he could hear Star yipping but he pushed her noises from his head to focus and then growled playfully and moved to try to bite his brothers ear.

Coal giggled when Kilo tugged in this ear. He then tried to grab his brother's ear. They rolled around,getting dust on their pelts,but they didn't really care.

Star sat and smiled, her tail swaying as her brothers giggled and wrestled in the dirt. She found it fascinating how each young boy used their own tactics to roll and pin the other one.

Kilo grunted when him and Coal had rolled over a sharp rock, it stabbed his back paw causing him to cry out in shock, and pain. He jumped up and felt pain rocket threw his paw, whimpering and limping he moved to a nearby bush and began licking his bleeding paw.

Coal noticed his brothers to and limp over to a brush. He stared at Star in urgency,then dashed off after his brother. He peered behind a shoulder at the bleeding paw. "Are you ok Kilo...?" His silver eyes,tinged with violet,softened in worry.

Star lifted her head, then ran to her mom "mom! Kilo's hurt!" her eyes frantic as she watched her mom and kept looking back in the direction of her brothers.

Kilo whimpered and looked at his paw, the blood trickling down, he lowered his head and sniffed his wound, careful not to touch it at all "it hurts" he whined.

Rue

"Huh?" She had decided to start some small talk with the couple,but Star came up and reported that Kilo was hurt. Rue's eyes widened. She glanced at the two and nodded to them. Then she turned and padded over to the scent of the two brothers. She padded over and bent down to look at Kilo's paw. She narrowed her eyes and sniffed it. The metallic smell made her crinkle her nose. "What happened?" She sled,then began to lick the small wound. "Keep licking it,Kilo." She said in between licks.

Coal

Coal whimpered and leaned his head on his brother's shoulder. He glanced up at his mom that apprehend with Star at her heels. "Will she be ok,Momma?" His violet tinged eyes searched her face for an answer.

Kilo winced when his mom started licking the cut, he soon nodded when her heard her tell him to keep licking the cut "ok mom, I will" he bent his head obediently and began to lick the cut.

Star shook in fear as she kept close to her mother, her eyes full of worry as her tail drooped low, her head hung down and watching her mom and brothers.

The fae sighed at her son's question. "Of course Coal." Her silver tinged violet eyes narrowed. "Now answer the question,what happened?" She then sat back up nice Kilo started licking his paw. She frowned and sighed inwardly. I might be able to do this...I should tell Kupa though. She cringed at the thought of his name. ...Why...?

Coal sighed and licked his brother's ear. "You'll be ok!" He bounced up and down in excitment. Not catching his mother's question.

Kilo smiled but continued to lick his cut, running his tongue over it again and again as he waited for his mom to tell him to stop.

Star sat up and answered the question "they were wrestling and Kilo hit his paw on some thing" she looked at her bleeding brother then back to her mom.

Rue sighed and stared at the two. She bent down and flicked her tail. "Tone it down,or else you'll get hurt." She set her paw onCoal's head so he would stop jumping around. He slid to a stop on his bum and glanced up at his mom. "And Kilo,stay off that paw for the day. You don't want it to get infected." She straightened up and sighed inwardly. ...I'm not so sure I can be a mother anymore...

Coal

Coal smiled and wagged his tail,but he slid to a stop when something warm set itself on his head. He glanced up and blinked at his mom. He nodded and mumbled an apology. "Sorry mom..." He stared at the ground,but then stole a glance at his brother and sister.

Star whined softly and pressed herself to her mothers paw before turning and prancing over to Kilo, a look of confusion and pity set in her features.

Kilo nodded his head and looked at Star, he saw the pity clear in her eyes, he huffed and hung his head before recovering and looking up at his mom with bright eyes.

Rue glanced down at her dark gray daughter. She then padded off to her brother. Rue cleared her throat with a cough and glanced at her lighter gray son. "Be more careful." She paused before continuing. Carefully selecting her words.which would even make pups understand. "If you don't,the rocks will come after you." She added creepily. She chuckled and nuzzled each of the pups. "I'm serious ok?"

Coal

Coal sat by his brother,and smiled. His eyes no longer sad. He glanced at his mom and wagged his tail. "Ok mom!" He yipped eagerly. Then she added something about the rocks. Her ears went down to his head. "The rocks...?" He blinked. Unsure how to reach. He turned to his brother and sister. Then glanced at a stone beside him,and pushed it away.

Kilo glared at the rocks when he heard his mother, he huffed and curled his lips at the rocks "if they come for me i will givem a Kilo-Smack-Down" he yapped and shook his head with a grin.

Star looked around at her brothers then her mom, her mind suddenly flashing back to their father, she got up and sat beside Coal "what about dad? i bet he could get the rocks to be nice" she tilted her head curiously at their mother.

Rue sighed when Kilo said he'd induce some pain on a nerveless rock. It took all she had to stop from giggling in laughter,which she often did not do. Rue smiled and glanced at all of them. "So be careful,alright?" She had decided to leave soon,since Scar came back. They needed to get off of their territory and maybe find their own. He dark gray ears went down to her head when Star brought up the subject of their father again. Her silver tinged violet eyes darkened. "Um,yes. I suppose he can." She forced a smile and turned back to Titus. She dipped her head. We should leave soon. Get their mind off their father. She spoke without lifting her head. "Thank you Titus for your hospitality,but I suppose we should get going soon." She ignored the tipping declines from the pups behind her.

Coal

Coal nodded and couched down in a fighting stance. Wagging his tail behind in him. He pounced on a pebble and threw it up in the air. "Take that you rock!" He chased after it as it rolled through the bushes. He didn't see where he was going and ran into Titus's leg. "Oof!" His landing made his walk wobble around. He shook his head and bounced up and down. "I'm ok!" He then heard his mother's idea of leaving. His violet tinged silver eyes filled with dread. "No mom! I wan to stay with Titus!" He barked. He back away between Titus's paws and whimpered. "He's our friend isn't he?"

Star tilted her head and pouted "why do we have to go?" her ears perked forward as she waited for a reply from her mother.

Kilo huffed lightly and looked at the rocks eerily then nodded "maybe the rocks are nicer in other places" he hung his head in disappointment of leaving Titus.

Ignoring their protest,Rue lifted her head and flicked her tail. "Let's go kids." She trotted over to Coal and gave a faint smile to Titus. "Really,thank you Titus." She then picked up the protesting pup by his scruff. She turned to the pups and sighed through fur. "Lech,jusht go kids." She frowned at her misread words. She shook her head and headed up to a forest where they could live. Most possibly,where the pups could learn how to hunt.
