If you have any questions about how to get started or what Wolf Life is about, hopefully this topic will answer them. If not, feel free to send a private message to a staff member or post a topic about it in the General Discussion board.

Q: How do I play this game?
A: First, if you think that this is a game like WolfQuest, then you are wrong. We are a post-by-post text role playing game. This means that, basically, you are playing a multiplayer writing game. To play, you must first register an account (which I assume you have already done). Next, you must go into the Character Central board, click on the "Code" topic, copy everything in the dark grey box, click your browser's "back" button out of the thread, then click on "New Topic". You put your character's name as the title of the topic. Paste the code you received from the other topic into the large grey box on your new topic page, then fill out the form. After that, you must wait until a staff member accepts it. When it is accepted, you can go into any territory (such as Dense Woods, Sleeping Fields, Frozen Forest, etc.) and create a new topic. In this new topic, you begin your character's story. You say what he/she thinks, does, sees, smells, hears, feels, and says. After you post it, you just need to wait for someone else to reply. That's where the fun begins! The new player's character will also be described in the same way you did yours, except now it has another to interact with. You and the other player continue to reply to one another's posts by describing the characters' interactions.

Q: Why can't my wolf have pups?
A: Most likely you either don't have an accepted character, your mate doesn't, or you have yet to interact with each other enough.

Q: Why can't my wolf claim a territory?
A: It is, most probably, already claimed. Look under the description for something like "Territory of the Wolf Pack" or "Territory of Wolf1 and Wolf2".
