The femora swiftly marched through the plains, the night falling quickly, covering the world in a vast blanket full of bright and shiny stars that glowed throughout the night sky. She padded on, her ears flattened back, as she padded on, she heard crunching throughout the field, and she paused, looking around, but not detecting anyone with her silvery optics. She decided her nose would do the job for her. She lifted her maw to the sky, breathing in, taking in the dark-yet calm- atmosphere, and that's when it happened. She picked up the scent of a nearby wolf, most likely a loner, just as she was, wandering through on the prowl for food. The female barred her teeth and growled lowly and cautiously.
