Kodaks father had taught him how to understand humans, if you could not pick up on the words they were using which he certainly wasn't as good at as his father had been but normally he said you could tell mainly by their body language but that to a human usually baring their teeth was a sign that they were happy. They were a strange breed indeed and he half snorted as he got the idea of what she was trying to say he half turns his head towards Khione with a smirk on his face. " I think she thinks we're dumb...but we're not the ones wandering into another packs territory without anything to defend ourselves." he chuckles, his eyes were still glued to the human girl in front of him and he made no move towards her as he was still trying to get a feel for her intentions for being there in the first place but his mood was definitely lighter then the tense contracted muscles that had been ready for an attack before.

Raven watched and waited and the wolves diidnt seem to be making any moves but it did seem that they were commutcating in a way. since they wernt making any moves so she decided she wo uld so she took a hestitent step foward with palms up, her way of submitting.

jackie went to find kodak an saw the human. her taill wagged at the thought of knowing them. she trotted forward yet kept her distance. she heard the human and so she trotted forward. "i know what she is saying and notioning." she told kodak and khione.

spyro trotted up beside jackie. "this is the human girl i saw in near the trees." he said, his voice shakeing.

Kodak moved forward and put his body side ways between the human girl and Jackie. He growls at Jackie, her quick action was a sign of clear disrespect to his superiority over the pack. " Know your place." he snaps his teeth once at her before turning to look at the human, " My father knew the language of these two legged creatures and I happen to have a good idea what she wants but humans here isn't always a good thing. There are those that would kill us for our furs, never trust a human unless I say so. Go it?" the fur on his back was raised slightly, he would not stand for insubordination in his pack his father had told him the second he relinquished control another would fight him for his place there fore he had to stand his ground. The pack had to take their cues from him and him alone or else they could fall prey to the fate of his parents.

raven watched as a few more wolves joined the others and watched as one went to talk or something and the one bigger one that had its fur up earlier went to position its body between her and the one and snapped at the one. she figured out by now this must be the pack and that one had to be the alpha. she didnt move no more and stood there watching, she didnt dare speak up or move now for the one seemed upset.

jackie tucked her tail between her legs and lay her ears back. "i guess ill take a walk then." she said walking off.

Kodak snorted at Jackies reply, her brother had been right she didn't know anything about authority what so ever. He turned to look back towards the human, he would have to deal with Jackie later a simple tail tuck and a sorry would have sufficed but he was more concerned with the presence of the human girl at this point. " I guess the only way to test what she wants is to approach her slowly and see what she does..." he said off handed to Khione.

raven frowned and noticed as the two wolves that join earlier left almost just as quick. then her eyes went back to focus on the wolf she thought was alpha as he turned his gaze onto her. she stood there and waited for it to move.

Any normal wolf would have sniffed the air as it approached the human girl but his sense of smell didn't work properly so all he could go based on was the energy she was giving off. At this point it was non-threatening, she seemed just as scared as he felt of her which was a plus. So against his better judgement he moved slowly forward, at almost a crawls pace he placed one paw in front of the other until he was only a few steps from her. He then stopped and looked up at her, it was on her now to react and he was ready for the worst but hoped she would be more like the one human that had saved his family before...at least not all of them were bad.

Jackie walked around the parts of Yellowstone. in the distance she saw a geyser go off.

Raven slowly kneeled down so she was eye level and slowly exstened her hand toward the wolf, in her hand was a little bit of the trail mix she had earlier. "Hi there wolfy, want some trail mix" she said in a shakey voice for she didn't know what to ecppect the wolf to do if she said something wrong or moved the wrong way.

Kodak moved only slightly away when the girl knelt down, but then realized she wasn't doing anything that would bring him harm so he leaned forward to inspect what she was holding out to him. He wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do with it, he decided what the heck and tasted what she held out to him. It wasn't half bad, so he dove his nose into her palm as he consumed the rest down. When he finished he began to circle her, shoving his nose into her pockets to find out where she hid this food. " Hey Khione. You've gotta come try this stuff, it tastes good!" he says over to the fae before he whimpered and gave the girl the best puppy eyes he could to try to weasel more out of her.

Raven giggled as the wolf went to check her pockets more likely looking for more of the trail mix she had that he ate quickly after having a taste of it. she slowly took off her bag and rummaged inside for her other bag of trial mix. she pulled out the bag and took off her jacket and laid it on the ground then put the trail in the bag on top of it so it wouldn't be on the ground in the dirt. Then she scooted back to allow room for the wolf to eat it.

Kodak's whole body moved to the motion of his tail as he waited while she searched through the strange thing she had flung off her back. He whimpers a few times in anticipation and when the trail mix was finally presented to him his head disappeared inside to start gobbling down the contents. Looking up occasionally to lick his chops of the saltiness and look towards the girl to make sure this wasn't just some kind of trick before he dove into the treat again.

Raven watched as the wolf ate the trail mix looking at her a few times. She smiled glad that he was nice so far and had not attacked her yet. She hoped she could maybe stay here for a while to watch them. she really liked them already. Every so often she herself glanced at the other wolf standing that was there earlier.

Kodak didn't take long to get his fill of the delicious treat the human girl had offered him before he retracted his head from the bag to lick his lips of the salty goodness that lined his chops. He looks the girl over for a moment, the wheels in his turning as several thoughts and questions rattled around inside his skull. He did understand a bit of her language and somewhat wished he could speak to issue a thank you. So he decided to do what most wolves did to indicate their appreciation for something the other one did and slowly stepped up on her lap with his front paws to stare her in the face before allowing his tongue to roll out over her cheeks a few times while his tail wagged softly behind him.

Raven was ready to push the wolf off as it stepped up onto her lap but as it stared at her then licked her cheeks a few times she didnt. She started giggling a soft childlike noise and her chest vibrated a little. She Looked at the wolf then without thinking threw her arms around him and started hugging him watching the tail wag back and forth behind him not thinking at all what could happen with that kind of gesture from her.

Kodak froze for a moment when the girls arms wrapped around his neck, he had been uncertain at first what she was doing especially after the curious noise she had just made before hand but it felt nice and didn't hurt so he figured everything was okay. Soon he noticed that he was enjoying the hug and his tail wagging he gave her a playful nudge, she was obviously harmless had even given him free food. She didn't have a group of humans with her like all the others he had dealt with before her so it seemed safe enough to let his guard down.

Raven laughed when the wolf gave her a playful nudge. She backed up a little and looking to the wolf asked " Do you want to play?" She placed her hands on the ground on each side of her so as she crouched she wouldn't fall over. But she kept thinking, did this wolf have a pack r was it alone. She remembered the wolves earlier and how the one she was looking at now had acted like the alpha. She wondered if there were any pups too. She hoped there was and that she might see them.

Khione stepped forward cautiously and sniffed the human. Her stomach growled a little and she decided to follow Kihyah's lead. Cocking her head and widening her eyes, she gave the girl her biggest puppy eyes she could muster. Whining, she rubbed her head against the girl's knees.

Raven jumped a little as the other wolf rubbed her head against her knees giving her a puppy look. She looked into her bag looking for something to give this wolf. She son pulled out jer last half of a sandwhich and took it out of the baggy and held it out in her hand toward the other wolf that rubbbed against her knees.

Khione yipped happily and grabbed the sandwich, wolfing it down in one swallow. She licked the human's hand in thanks and wagged her tail.

Raven giggled and watched as the wolf grabbed the snadwhich from her hand and wolfed it down. It must be hungry. When it licked her hand she thought in thanks she wiped it on her pant leg wiping it off so it wasnt wet. She glanced back over to the other one that she fed the trail mix eariler.

Kodak jumped the human, tackling her back into the ground before he leaped off of her and turned around. His rump up in the air and his torso more towards the ground as his tail wagged behind him, he was trying to play with the girl he was obviously accepting her into his pack as she did bring food to them and he also figured that perhaps with a human around they might be safer from any other humans that might try to bring them harm.

Raven jumped slightly as the wolf jumped on her tackling her into the ground. She huffed the air knocked out of her a little. The wolf was playing now she realized and must of accepted her into the pack. She smiled and laughed with glee. She turned and faced the wolf with his rump in the air and torso downward towards the ground. She looked at the wolf not sure how to play back. Wolves arn't meant to fetch sticks so what did they like to do? She decided to crouch down acting like she was going to pounce.
