The Pups

Matias bolted wide awake wasnt sure if Night was attacking him or just waking him up "Wha-What are you doing?" he said grogilly from being jolted out of deep sleep.

Night smiled "Its a bit too cold come with me to my den but touch my pups and i kill you" he said growling

Toby stumbled over to his mom and ploped down

Silver smiled, proud of Night and walked into the den. She picked up her pups and layed near Blair.

Snuggled into mom and fell back asleep.

Sat down grogilly.

Matias was very happy but kept his cool "Thank you, It is much appreciated" Matias followed night back to his den which was warm from all the others in it, He found a spot and lay down smiling, Were these maybe the first friends he would make other than Elunaria?, He hoped so

Night turned "Its just too cold out tonight" then he turned to go to his den

Silver layed down her head sighing. It was pitch black out now. The moon barely shone and Wing still wasn't back.

Ran to the new wolf to sniff him.

Night turned to the young wolf

Toby was so small that he really could see or hear so he just started rolling around till he bumped into something new

Matias shook his head agreeing with Night knowing that winter had to be upon us with snow falling outside.

Night turned "Toby stop that" Night got up and started chasing the ball of fur

Toby ran to his mom squeaking

Silver stood quickly grabbing the runaway pup by his scruff and carrying him back to er spot forcing him to lay dowm.

Sighed, but fell asleep.

Matias smiled and looked at Silver and asked "How old is your little pup?" also noticing how he wouldnt mind having pups one day, Maybe soon. He didnt know.

Silver hesitated.

"There..umm, well.."

Because of the terrible experiance se'd been put trou se didn't know how old her pups were... she was ashamed of this.

"Excuse me.." She said hopping up and leaving the den, trusting Blair to watch er pups.

She sat outside looking at the moon, waiting for Wing to come home.

Matias felt bad for whatever he had said that had made her sad, He got up and walked out and sat beside Silver "I didnt mean to offend you" he said looking at Silver sympathetically.

Silver looked at Matias giving a sad smile.

"It's ok, you didn't know. It's just, well, I dont really want to talk about it"

Matias respected the fact she didn't want to talk about it so he started to walk back in the den "Well, I need to rest if im going to have enough strength to hunt tomorrow" as he said that he noticed how hungry he was It can wait till morning he thought and layed down in the den and drifted to sleep to the relaxing sound of everyone in the den breathing lightly.

Silver sat in the snow waiting for her mate. She considered leaving, searching for him, but it was just to dark and cold. It wouldn't be worth it.

Matias awoke in the very early moring the dim little rays of light starting to pop up on the horizon were just starting to show, He was hungry so he walked to the stream to try to catch some trout for his, and the others breakfast.

Night turned to his pup and picked him up then he set down away from his mother and watched him stumble back to his mother then he picked him up again but this time fell asleep with him right there even thought the sun was coming up

Matias was having good luck catching fish he thought he had caught enough to feed everyone in the den so he grabbed them all and brought them back to the den and layed them in the middle "I got us breakfast" He said, he grabbed a fish and started to eat.

Night turned he knew Toby couldn't eat this i mean it was only his second day on this earth

Toby woke up and when he smelled the fish he put his head into his fathers fur because he thought it smelled bad

Matias gave a slight chuckle "Not what he wants i expect" he said, Now thinking even more about how much he would like to have pups someday

Night turned to him and licked his head then he picked him up and set him by his mother and watched his fall asleep
