One shot

I finish eating my meat also and I start to lay down next to you. There is something about you that is attracting me but I cannot figure it out. So I just lay there and listen to nature.

Ria looked at him and tilted her head, she rested for a bit as her tail swished around. Looking up one would only see the stars and moon, maybe a few birds but thats about it, it felt peaceful.

Sitka looked up also at the stars that were comming out. It reminded him of nights when he was younger when he would watch the stars with his father. It was very peaceful just laying there, and it wasn't long before he fell asleep.

Ria fell asleep her tail curled around her protectivly, as she waited for the morning light to come.

The night comes to an end as the sun starts to peek over the hill where the pair was sleeping. Sitka opens his eyes slowly then stands up and starts to stretch out.

Ria turned over onto her side, still asleep as her tail swished slowly in the morning dew.

Sitka watches as Ria sleeps. After a while he runs off to do something.

Ria woke up hearing a strange bird, she sat up looking around and yawned stretching. Her eyes were still hazy so she sat there and cleaned her wound.

Sitka was in the brush watching for prey, then he suddenly sees a deer walking by. He lunges at it and takes it down. It takes a while but he drags it back to where they were sleeping.

Ria heard someone coming and hid, knowing she wouldnt be able to fight very well with her wound. She watched until she saw it was only him and came out of hiding.

Sitka was dragging the deer with him and dropped it where they were staying. He started to rip the meat off the deer and invited Ria to do the same.

Seeing he had invited her over she went and bit into the deers side, ripping off a peice and eating it down. Her tail wagged back and forth as she looked at him, "Thanks, but why are doing this," asked between bites.

"I am trying to be nice and help you out. You got hurt so I wanna help you heal." Sitka smiles as he rips off some more meat.

"You dont have to, Ive been able to take care of myself alot in the short time ive been here," she said and ripped off another peice of meat.

"Then consider it an act of friendship" He continues to rip off meat and eat it.

'Friendship,' She thought, and kept eating her peice of meat, once finished she sat up and cleaned her paws and face.

Sitka continued to eat through the deer carcas, like he haden't eaten in days. Once he finished he cleaned his paws and sat down next to Ria, wrapping his tail around his legs to keep warm. "So I guess you are alone. No pack or family?"

Ria thought back and shook her head, "I got family but they were taken away, wanted as so called exotic pets or something." she said glumly and blew her bangs from her eyes.

"I'm sorry to hear that, I guess that means we are both in the same boat"

"Eh, Im over it, I mean well, II got strong enough to let go," Ria said and stretched pawing at the ground. Sitting up she cleaned her tail off, then her wound.

Sitka smiles, "Well thats good, at least you can make a better future for yourself"

She nodded and looked around bewildered, she had just noticed the area was one she had never been in befor. She looked back in the direction of the farm her mind running wild remembering much from last night, she looked down at her paws fast in deep thought.

I look over at you and I see that you look confused, "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, Im fine," She said and stood up, "But I think I should go back there," she looked back at the farm as her tail moved around slowly.

"Well if you want too, I guess I can come too. Just to make sure you are ok"
