Ahlah nods and walks past the fae, her hopes of finding a den like structure were dwindling as were her hours left of daylight. Her ears rotated on top of her head as she heard other creatures starting to find their own way home for dusk was upon them and soon everything that dwelt in the day would be hunkered in for the night. Her nose searched as well for any sign of an old site of foxes or maybe sea turtles she wasn't quite sure what exactly inhabited these parts so it was to any guess of what she may or may not find. Her mind goes to her passed on mate, he would have called it an adventure waiting to happen...she smiled at the thought of him and continued onward.

Hati on a quest of adventure crosses path with wolves well he wanted to find a friend along his journey...

Ahlah normally would have troubled herself to welcome the wolf that had howled but her quest was set, den or sleep in the bitter cold that was seeming to rise up from the waters. Soon she found an old foxes den, a little ways in from the ocean but she could steal hear its waves crashing angrily against the shore as she squirmed herself into the abandoned little home she would rest her head in for the night. Her eyes slowly closing she thought fondly on her mate and spoke softly, " We saw the ocean today and you were right, it was just as magnificent and terrifying as you described...I'm sorry you and the pups weren't here to see it though." she sighs as a light whimper escapes her and a tear traces its way down the fur at her cheek. Her tears soon caught up with her and she fell into a light rest for the night.

Next Day

Ahlah woke and it was with the same bitter realization she had every morning, the loves she had seen in her dreams were gone the moment her eyes were open. She sighs, a curse yet a blessing to have such vivid dreams of them for when she slept she got to spend months with them teaching her pups everything she had dreamed of doing and when she woke she watched it all slip away in her mind. Rising to her paws she found it even more difficult to even want to move, but she heard her mate strong in her heart and knew he wouldn't want her to give up on life. Unfortunately it was easier said then done when you had a hip that sent searing pain up your spine and was a constant reminder of your failure to protect your family. Most females would have died with their pack, but for some cruel reason the bear had spared her having its fill on her mate and pups. She shook the angry tears from her that stung her eyes and huffs to herself, no reason to start down that pity trip again she told herself and slowly made her way to the spring that was just a distance off and didn't taste nasty like the large ocean to claim herself a nice cool drink. She laps up the liquid as her eyes shifted over the beach, the others were still there but they hadn't much done anything since she went to sleep and figured it was time for her to be moving on. It was more or less she needed to so her mind would stay focused on something other then what it wanted to be focused on so as she limped back into the forest she starts to hum a light tune her own mother had used to sing when they went for long treks after prey.

L'moine yawned and walked around seeing more wolves around. He took a quick sniff in the air and then completely plopped down and sighed a bit.

"Well, I'm tired" he whispers to himself.
