|Subject: Rabbit lake has a savior from loneliness. October 26th 2011, 6:35 pm|| |
Vita sat, awaiting dusk. He was very calm, still, and lost in thought. Why did the ones he loved so chase him off of the plateau? His parents loved him. They cherished his very existence. Why did it have to stop? His silence was broken by a small rabbit that slowly crept into the last inch in reach. He was starving. He had left not too long before they ate. They. He hated saying that about his family. It was small and wounded. He turned and looked at it. It still didn't run. He quickly twitched his front, left leg. It rustled in the leaves. The rabbit looked up at him as if nothing had happened, as if he wasn't even there. He started to think, and the only conclusion he could come up with was that it was deaf or mentally incapacitated. "well, little rabbit, you know what they say, survival of the fittest. You, friend, are not fit for survival." He lunged out towards the small creature, only to land a perfect gouge in the neck. He quickly cleaned the carcass. He had chosen his next move- He was determined to start a pack. He stood up and hollered his name in the wind. " I claim this territory for the Rendezvous!"
Rendezvous is the pack name, just to clear that up.
