She picked up the rabbit, that seemed frozen in time, and walked to the place in the bushes she saw that she thought would be a good place to sleep, and settled down to eat. "What a beautiful sunset." she thought as images of her parents, who were both tremendous hunters and fighters, flashed through her mind. Suddenly she realized that she needed to eat, rather than sitting and crying about her pack. Shaden slashed through the meat as the sunset quickly turned to a new moon, when only stars were in the sky. "I'm that many moons already!" Shaden accidentally howled. Then the scents and sounds came crashing in, as loud as a thunder storm. "I better find a safer place to stay." she thought as she ran to the forest at the edge of the cliff. As she ran, she tripped over a tree root and hurled towards the cliff's edge. She managed to grab hold of a rocky edge, but Shaden knew she couldn't hang onto the edge forever.
