Titus lost

He murrs as he eats, for filling his belly and for the wonderful cuddle he was receiving from his Leto. Noticing she wanted none of it he scarfed down what was left on the bones before he shoved it aside, licking his chops heavily to rid them of the blood so it couldn't stain his fur. He picks up the fore closest to her and lays it over her gently while giving her crown a few tender kisses before finally resting his head lightly across her neck. Still murring deep in his chest he breathes out to her another tender, " I love you." as his eyes slowly shut and he just enjoyed her presence near him as it relaxed him into a light wolf nap.

Her mates murrs beneath her made Leto sigh contently, smuggling her face down into his nape more. The exhausted fae was soon starting to fall asleep against her brute, whimpering quietly to herself when Titus shoved the bare carcass off to the side and it had jarred her awake. He wrapped a fore around her and pulled her close as he kissed her though and she sighed contently, auds drooping as she relaxed back into him and her orbs closed. Pulling her long fores into her chest she let a tired sigh escape her nares, her brutes crown laid across her neck and the little fae was soon falling asleep as her body relaxed under her Titus.

This time Titus dreamed about the coyote who had come trying to stake claim and he kicks his back feet as a bull would ready to charge. His paws twitching lightly in his sleep as he dreamed about picturing the coyote like one of his kills, speeding towards the male as it ran and a grin started to spread over his maw in the waking world as well as his tail thud lightly upon the ground. In his dream he snapped his jaws down around the male and it turned around, then there was this epic battle. First Titus had the upper paw, then the coyote and they wrestled all while Leto cheered him on and finally he was the victor which made his body go still again as the dream led him back to her and rubbing his scent on her and her telling him how brave and strong he was.

Leto slept soundly against her mate, not dreaming of anything in particular but random memories decided to play themselves out. The memories were fuzzy and hard to remember as she woke suddenly, auds perking and shifting in her spot beside her brute. Glancing around and realizing nothing was wrong for now the fae curled back up, kissing her brutes throat tenderly as she could feel him twitching. Listening to his tassel thudding against the terra she smiled lightly before a heavy yawn parted her maw and her orbs watered. Blinking the little femme soon was falling back asleep again as Titus held her, fores curled into herself as she snuggled her face into the soft fluff on her mates chest. Half asleep when something cracked behind her she whimpered, having jumped and turning her crown with pinned auds to see what had caused it. Irritated grumbles escaped the fae then, meeting glances with the intruding coyote again. Enamels bared the fae ruffled her pelt, wanting the persistent pest to high tail it out before Titus woke. She had killed coyotes before when she was in heat and they wouldn't leave her alone and the only thing stopping her now was her spot against her brute.

Titus started to feel himself be pulled awake by his mate moving about, at first he just thought she was stirring in her sleep and then he realized the scent of the coyote was getting stronger. He was immediately on his paws and had been careful not to harm Leto, standing over her he let out a low growl and lower his head as his ears flattened against his skull. Inside his gut was a massive knot and he was more then frightened by the male standing in front of him much closer this time then the last, all Titus could think was that the male could see he was no fighter and that he'd stand no chance against the coyote but this was his mate and he wasn't handing her over without a fight. So even though every part of him screamed for him to run he stood his ground, waiting to see what the males reaction would be to their threats to leave them alone.

Leto jumped softly as her brute stood suddenly over her, not having realized he was awake. She listened to his growls above her crown, shifting slightly beneath him. She could almost feel the nerves seeping off him and it made her hackles ruffle uncomfortably. Giving the coyote a cold growl that backed up her brutes, lifting her muzzle to kiss his chest but keeping her auds pinned for the intruder to see. Enamels still bared she watched the thing sway, trying to decide whether she was worth the fight or not. It rubbed her the wrong way and she was sick of waiting for the thing to make up it's mind. Pulling herself up into her peds the fae crept forward, trying to control her limp as she let deep growls bubble up through her throat. She may have been tiny for a wolf but she was big for a coyote. Getting close enough the femme lunged slightly for the thing, sheer snarls ripping through her teeth in one last chance to scare it off.

Titus watches as Leto moves from him and towards the brute, he whines softly not at all feeling safe anymore now that she wasn't with him. He as well as obviously the coyote were confused by her actions, she had just kissed him and then was moving for the coyote. Had that been a fair well? He dances on his pedistals like he did while he waited on the right moment for his prey to move, when she went for the coyote though with a snap of her jaws and it was so frightening her rage that even he had flinched away from the scenario but his eyes remained locked on the other male it too dangerously close to his female for him to like and he growls again now that he realized she was determined to chase away the intruder.
